Teen confesses to satanic murder
Randfontein – A 15-year-old Johannesburg girl has confessed to stabbing her friend to death as part of a satanic ritual, eNCA reported on Friday.
The girl told the High Court sitting in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court she killed a fellow pupil so she could move up the ranks of a satanic cult in Randfontein.
She said the pupil, Keamogetswe Sefularo, had posed a threat to the cult because she knew its members and their practices.
The girl said these rituals included visiting graveyards and members cutting themselves and sucking each other’s blood.
Teen pleads guilty to Satanic murder
The teenager accused of killing her 14 year old friend during a Satanic ritual has pleaded guilty to the murder. She appeared in the Palmridge High Court on Gauteng’s East Rand on Friday
The suspect from Mohlakeng near Randfontein, confessed to stabbing and killing her best friend, Keamogetswe Sefularo.
Recently, a 14-year-old boy allegedly killed his mother, two siblings and grandmother with an axe in what is believed to have been a satanic ritual.
Meanwhile a summit in Johannesburg aimed at addressing issues of Satanism in Gauteng schools has heard that young people have cited using drugs, peer pressure and a lack of parental guidance as some of the reasons for engaging in Satanism.
Some of the young people say when they start using drugs it gives them other perspectives and they start getting influenced.
